Return to Skull Island is a four-issue Monsterverse comic book miniseries from Titan Comics and Legendary Comics. A continuation of the 2023 Netflix animated series Skull Island, it takes place the same year and sees Annie, Mike, Irene, Sam, and Dog embark on another expedition to the island to rescue Charlie and Cap, while Kong, poisoned by the Kraken, contends with Yuggoth, a new Titan challenger. The series is written by Simon Furman, illustrated by Christopher Jones, and colored by Charlie Kirchoff. The series ran from July 9 to October 15, 2025. Titan will publish a trade paperback collecting the series on February 3, 2026. A sequel series, Escape from Skull Island, began on January 28, 2026.

Return to Skull Island was exclusively announced by Variety on March 7, 2025.[1] Bloody Disgusting published three preview pages later that day.[2]
