| ||||||||||||||||
Godzilla: Here There Be Aliens is a five-issue Godzilla comic miniseries published by IDW Publishing from May 14 to October 8, 2025. A sequel to 2024's Godzilla: Here There Be Dragons II - Sons of Giants, the series serves as the third and final installment of a trilogy that began with Godzilla: Here There Be Dragons in 2023. Written by Frank Tieri and illustrated by newcomer Ángel Hernández, the series features an Xilien invasion taking place in United States in 1954 as seen from the perspective of agent Bob Jones, a government employee bent on proving the existence of kaiju. As the invasion unfolds and Earth's monsters, even Godzilla, prove powerless to stop Mecha-King Ghidorah, Jones must decide who to trust when the centuries-old conflict between humanity and the Xiliens proves more complicated than it first appeared. IDW will publish a trade paperback collecting the series on April 21, 2026.

Development
The miniseries was first teased at the end of the final issue of Godzilla: Here There Be Dragons II - Sons of Giants before being formally announced three months later on February 17, 2025, on the official Godzilla website.[1]
Trivia
- Megalon being part of the Xiliens' invasion force recalls the video game Godzilla: Unleashed, in which Megalon was part of the "Aliens" faction despite not being extraterrestrial. Within the context of the series itself, however, it is not clear if this version of Megalon is extraterrestrial in origin.
