Trivia
- According to writer Gerry Duggan during a Reddit AMA, the series takes place at an undetermined time on Marvel Comics' Earth-616, and its Godzilla is "the classic Showa era Godzilla".[3][4]
- King Ghidorah, Mechagodzilla, Hedorah, SpaceGodzilla, and Megalon are featured on various covers, though all are absent from the series itself. Perhaps most notably, the latter two have never appeared in a Marvel Godzilla comic in any capacity, though the former three appeared in Godzilla vs. Marvel. Kumonga and Ebirah are the only Toho kaiju to appear in this series.
