Godzilla vs. America is an ongoing anthology comic book miniseries from IDW Publishing. The series focuses on Godzilla targeting different cities across the United States, with each issue featuring multiple creative teams.[1] The first issue, set in Chicago, Illinois, was released on February 26, 2025. The second issue, set in Los Angeles, California, was released on April 30 and benefited the Book Industries Charitable Foundation in response to the wildfires that ravaged areas of the city.[2] The third issue took place in Boston and released on July 30, while the fourth featured Kansas City, Missouri, and released on October 29, 2025. Individual hardcover editions of the series' first four issues were released on March 10, 2026, and will be followed by a collected edition on April 7.
A fifth issue, set in Portland, Oregon, is set to release on March 11, 2026. The sixth issue, set in Texas, differs from the established format by pitting Godzilla against an entire state rather than one city.

Development
The series was first announced on October 18, 2024, alongside Mothra: Queen of the Monsters and Godzilla: Heist, at the 2024 New York Comic Con. Additional information about the series, including several covers and the lineup of creatives behind the first issue among other details, were revealed exclusively by TheWrap.[1]
Despite being initially billed as a limited 4-issue series, a continuation was confirmed on December 19, 2025, with the announcement of Godzilla vs. America: Portland.[3]
