The rematch of Jacen and Godzilla starts here!
In one corner, we have the meanest and greenest King of the Monsters the world has ever seen. In the other, we have the boy who wields the fire of Godzilla. Who will prevail? After attacking Atlanta, Godzilla seemingly disappeared into the Earth below. While half of G-Force goes searching for the origins of the synthetic leech kaiju Yacumama, the other half is going Godzilla hunting. But will Rumi’s technique be enough for Jacen to take down the King of the Monsters?[1] |

Plot
Jet Jaguar swims amongst a pod of whales in the North Atlantic Ocean, still rapping its theme song and holding Jacen Braid and Dr. Rumi Chiba in an air pocket between its hands. When Braid complains about the robot's rapping, Chiba replies that out of respect for its long history fighting kaiju, first for Japan and now for the U.S., she's inclined to let it sing as it pleases. They reach the underwater tunnel, originally dug by Anguirus, that Godzilla used to attack Atlanta. As it can move faster in the flooded tunnel, it could swiftly attack another city. He is skeptical that he'll be able to harness the nonlethal techniques she's been teaching him, worrying that his hatred for the monster will make an explosion of Kai-Sei energy inevitable when they clash again. She reassures him that despite his potential for destruction, he can defeat Godzilla and prevent others from suffering the same fate as his mother without becoming Godzilla. She adds that killing the kaiju would unbalance the natural order.
Riviera, Nuki, and Incense land near a crater at the Nevada Test Site. Recounting that an isotope found within the Yacumama traces back to this location, Riviera makes a hole in the bottom of the crater with an energized punch and leads his team into a hidden passageway. Incense frets that the increased levels of radioactivity underground could cause him to lose his best feature—his hair—irritating Nuki. He's angered in turn that, despite their chemistry, they've spent little time together since Braid joined the team. He peppers her with questions about the nature of her relationship with Braid, to which she responds that they're just teammates. Braid's raw authenticity, however, has made her realize how much of Incense's personality is just showmanship. Riviera hushes them and punches open a door to Lament's main base. The trio has little time to assess the ancient TV sets dotted around the area before the kaiju looms behind them. All three G-Force members open fire, but Lament knocks Nuki and Incense aside with their tail while picking up Riviera. They hold him over the vat of Yacumama, explaining that they know the leeches are why he has sought them out.
Godzilla surfaces next to the Bond Bridge in Kansas City, covered in Yacumama. He tears one off and pitches it at the bridge. Jet Jaguar saves a truck from falling into the hole made by the leech's impact. Chiba relays to Braid that Godzilla has taken offense to Yacumama siphoning its blood and will exact revenge against everything in the vicinity unless they can drive it off. She adds that despite Jet Jaguar's massive size, its outdated programming will not be enough to overcome the monster on its own. Godzilla promptly headbutts the robot into the bridge. She reminds Braid not to give into his anger. Surging with Kai-Sei energy, he delivers a punch to Godzilla's head to save Jet Jaguar, then lands on the monster's chest to strike a cardinal point. The monster retaliates with atomic breath, knocking Braid into the water. He flashes back to the last time he saw his mother, but sets his rage aside and tries to think of the monster as a force of nature. Jet Jaguar, having shrunk back down to human size, carries him out of the water and into the air. After telling the robot that its theme song is starting to grow on him, he leaps at Godzilla and hits three more cardinal points. Falling back onto the bridge, he witnesses the monster withdraw, though Chiba speculates Godzilla may be beckoning them to follow it instead of retreating.
Having formed an alliance with Lament, Riviera helps them move equipment while Incense and Nuki grumble about working with a kaiju. Riviera asks Lament where they're from; the kaiju replies that they're been more than one thing, though much of their past has been lost and they are now a being of the mind. Unconnected to anything, their sole goal is destroying Godzilla, who they hold responsible for their current form.
Godzilla travels through another underwater tunnel and prepares to surface again with Jet Jaguar, Braid, and Chiba in pursuit. With a camera alerting them to Lament's presence, Chiba instructs Jet Jaguar to proceed with caution. Braid, however, suspects the robot has become insecure since Godzilla trounced it in Kansas City; accordingly, Jet Jaguar shoots out of the water to deliver a flying double kick to Lament. As Godzilla rises into view, Riviera orders his team to stand down while the fully-grown Yacumama, positioned above the King of the Monsters on the ceiling, does its work.
