Dragon[1][2] is a sauropod-like dinosaur that appears in the 1933 King Kong film, Son of Kong. It is a minor character that appears briefly to fight Kiko.

Design

Dragon resembles a sauropod, having a long neck and tail, rough bumpy skin, four, short, muscular legs, and pupil-less eyes. The monster resembles a Nothosaurus or the Brontosaurus from the original King Kong.

History

Son of Kong

After Kiko, Carl Denham, and Hilda Petersen opened a sealed temple on Skull Island, the Dragon followed them in, possibly tempted by the smell of food, and attacked Kiko. The two creatures grappled, with the dragon using its tail to try to choke the infant Kong, until Kiko escapes its grasp and bashing its head repeatably, killing it.

Abilities

Physical abilities

When Dragon battles Kiko, it uses its jaws to bite him and utilizes its prehensile tail to attempt to strangle the ape.

Weaknesses

While fighting Dragon, Kiko kills it by striking repeatedly on its head.
