Lady Gigana (レディガイガーナ Redi Gaigāna) is an alien cyborg kaiju that first appeared in episode 58 of the 2019 web series Godziban. She is the older sister of Gigan.
Name
Lady Gigana's name combines "Gigan" and the root suffix -na, which is a common suffix in feminine names such as Alana, Alvena and so on.
Design
Lady Gigana resembles the Godzilla Final Wars incarnation of Gigan, with heavy armor and a slender physique. She differs from the original design with her six wings, more elaborately shaped claws, and an overall pinkish hue. According to the designer, her “design motif is a wild goose, that's why Mother Gigarian and Lady Gigana's designs accentuate the skeleton of the bird, hence the curved neck, protruding chest, thick thighs, and thin ankles, with Godzilla Final Wars style decoration.”
