Zagreth (ザグレス,   Zaguresu) is an Xilien character who appears in the 1997 television series Godzilla Island.

Personality

Zagreth is both prideful and arrogant, as she underestimated both Beisuke Jinguji and the kaiju of Godzilla Island by believing she would be able to conquer the island in no time. Her vanity is also shown through her often boasting of her beauty. She also jumps the gun on some occasions such as when she chose to deploy Mecha-King Ghidorah without checking to see if the cyborg was properly functional, causing her to miss that Mecha-King Ghidorah needed a separately sold brain unit to function.

She is also a coward as she is shown to use underhanded tactics, cheating in her duel with Torema by having Black Mechagodzilla fire at Torema in Mechagodzilla before she could count to 5 during their standoff. She had also begged for a second chance when the Giant Dark Emperor fired her twice. She also refuses to take any responsibility in her defeats whenever she can avoid it as she places the blame entirely on both the M Space Hunter Nebula Alien and Dogora when their plans involving Gigan and SpaceGodzilla's ghost fail, even killing the former with her newspaper.

Zagreth was an Xilien sent to destroy Godzilla Island and the monsters in preparation for an invasion. However, she was chased away from the island by Torema after the Giant Dark Emperor fired her twice, but returned in the series' climax for the final battle.
