Kong: Return to the Jungle is a 2006 direct-to-video 3D-animated musical giant monster film directed by Stuart Evans and written by Rick Ungar and Sean Catherine Derek. Produced by BKN International, it ties into the company's Kong: The Animated Series (2000–01) and is a follow-up to its first film adaptation, Kong: King of Atlantis (2005), but unlike both was animated by Indian studio UTV Software Communications, replacing Philippine Animation Studio. Consequently, it is also the only of the three to use 3D computer animation. The film stars the voices of Kirby Morrow, Scott McNeil, Kathy Morse, Saffron Henderson, and David Kaye, who reprise their roles from The Animated Series, along with Paul Dobson and Richard Newman, who had both voiced in the series but portray new characters. Genius Entertainment released the film to DVD on November 21, 2006.[1]
