| ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
The Sikorsky SH-60 Seahawk is a twin turboshaft engine, multi-mission United States Navy helicopter based on the United States Army UH-60 Black Hawk and a member of the Sikorsky S-70 family, introduced in 1984. The most significant modifications are the folding main rotor blades and a hinged tail to reduce its footprint aboard ships. The Sikorsky SH-60 Seahawk appears in multiple Godzilla films, beginning with The Return of Godzilla.

Heisei era
The Return of Godzilla
The JSDF set up a defense perimeter near Tokyo Bay after Godzilla was sighted heading toward the area. Three Sikorsky SH-60B Seahawks of the JMSDF were deployed to search for the monster with dipping sonars. The military waited patiently, when Godzilla suddenly rose out of the water in front of a Seahawk, scaring the pilots. Godzilla roared at the helicopter before the JSDF began their attack.
Monsterverse
Godzilla
The morning after the male MUTO hatched from the chrysalis in Janjira and escaped, an SH-60 Seahawk arrived at the containment site and airlifted Ishiro Serizawa, Ford Brody, and Joe Brody to the USS Saratoga. Joe passed away from his injuries while being transported.
Multiple SH-60 Seahawks shined their spotlights on Godzilla's dorsal fins before he made landfall in Honolulu, Hawaii. An SH-60 sat on the flight deck of USS Saratoga as Godzilla swam underneath the aircraft carrier. The next morning, multiple SH-60s departed Hawaii and continued following Godzilla alongside USS Saratoga and other U.S. Navy ships.
Godzilla vs. Kong
A news report concerning Godzilla's attack on the Apex Cybernetics facility in Pensacola, Florida, showed multiple Sikorsky SH-60 Seahawks on the flight deck of the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Nimitz (CVN-68).
