Godzilla Raids Again

A fleet of Shooting Stars were deployed when Godzilla and Anguirus arrived in Osaka, deploying flares in an attempt to lure the monsters away from the city. The distraction was successful, and the two monsters left the city for Osaka Bay, only to resurface and return to Osaka after a fire at an oil refinery lured them back ashore. Later, another detachment of the jets were sent to attack Godzilla at Kamiko Island, and bombed the glacier on the island to partially bury Godzilla in ice. Though the aircraft were successful in burying Godzilla up to his neck, he was able to dig his way out of the ice, so the Shooting Stars were ordered to fall back, with a squadron of Mitsubishi F-86 Sabres replacing them.
