Reiwa era
Shin Godzilla
After Godzilla emerged into his towering fourth form in Sagami Bay near Kamakura and began advancing through the city on a course towards Tokyo, the JGSDF enacted Operation Taba, in which a large assortment of Type 16 MCVs, Type 90 Tanks and Type 10 Tanks were mobilized to attack him. The ground vehicles fired on Godzilla with their cannons, but even with long-range artillery and air support provided by Mitsubishi F-2 fighter jets of the JASDF, Godzilla kept marching forward, eventually walking through the Tama River and throwing part of the Maruko Bridge toward the tanks near the JGSDF's field headquarters. Once the dust cleared, several of the tanks were wrecked as Godzilla stomped past them. With no opposition left, the creature continued its approach to Tokyo after passing through the JSDF's defense line.
Godzilla Singular Point
"Omniarch"
The JSDF deployed Type 16 MCVs to confront Godzilla Amphibia in Tokyo. Multiple Type 16 MCVs traveled to the city via highway as civilians in the opposite lane watched.
"Graftage"
A battalion of Type 16 MCVs fired at Godzilla Amphibia from all angles in the center of a park. As soon as the vehicles stopped firing, Godzilla released a vapor which froze all it touched. When the MCVs resumed firing and a shell hit Godzilla's face, the vapor combusts, creating a giant mushroom cloud reaching a height of 500 meters. The surrounding area, including the MCVs, buildings, Rodans, and Godzilla were charred. However, Godzilla created a shell of his second form in the process and began evolving once more inside of it.
Shin Ultraman
After Gomess emerged from a mine in the Japanese countryside and began rampaging through the surrounding mountains, he was met by a detachment of Type 16 MCVs, Type 10 tanks, and Type 90 tanks of the JGSDF, which swiftly killed him by firing a volley of shells at the monster.
Godzilla vs. Gigan Rex
As a Gigan Miles massacred a squadron of JSDF F-35 fighter jets in the skies above, a battalion of Type 16 MCVs fired upon another cyborg to little effect. It returned fire with its forehead laser, destroying them. Still another monster skewered a pair of MCVs on one of its hooks.
Godzilla vs. Megalon
Type 16 MCVs were deployed to combat Godzilla as he stomped through a Japanese city. Several of them fired at the monster from a bridge. More MCVs prepared at a military base until a Seatopian woman appeared and summoned Megalon to the surface. The insect kaiju erupted from the ground and roared before activating his Geothermal Napalm launcher. He fired napalm bullets at the surrounding vehicles and a Kawasaki OH-1, igniting and destroying them. Megalon stood amidst the flames and opened his elytra, spreading and quickly flapping his wings before taking off and flying towards Godzilla's location. Later in the night, Megalon flew overhead and destroyed more MCVs on the ground with his napalm bullets before targeting Godzilla.
