Landing Ship

The Landing Ship (揚陸艇 Yōrikutei) is a vehicle deployed from the Aratrum that first appears in the 2017 Godzilla film, GODZILLA: Planet of the Monsters.

GODZILLA: Planet of the Monsters
Upon entering the Earth's atmosphere and preparing for a landing, the United Earth special forces unit launched a barrage of Thermo-Pressure Warheads from their Landing Craft upon the ground below, in order to flatten the impeded terrain. Later, as the Hover Bikes began to run out of fuel during the execution of Captain Haruo Sakaki's anti-Godzilla plan, he ordered the Landing Craft to drop Thermo-Pressure Warheads onto Godzilla in order to keep his attention. The monster was unfazed by the bombs, but continued to advance towards the ambush point.

Capabilities
Inrush
Landing Ships are equipped with an inrush function that allows the craft to enter a planet's atmosphere from space.
Thermo-Pressure Warheads
Each Landing Ship can drop numerous Thermo-Pressure Warheads (熱圧力弾頭 Netsu Atsuryoku Dantō), also called Thermobaric Bombs (サーモバリック爆撃 Sāmobarikku Bakugeki). Though powerful, they were unable to penetrate Godzilla Filius's shield.
Hover Bike storage
Hover Bikes are stored aboard the craft.
Escape pod
Landing Ships have a cockpit block that can separate from the fuselage and act as a small escape pod in case of emergency.
