The X-Chimera (X-キマイラ Ekkusu Kimaira) is a prototype mecha from the 2025 Akita Publishing manga Godzilla Galaxy Odyssey.

Origins
The X-Chimera is a prototype all-in-one super machine that was designed to help with planetary development from reconnaissance to excavation and construction duties. It is both a VTOL aircraft and counts as heavy machinery.

Commander Niel "Doctor Mantis" Kamahara unveiled the X-Chimera, the All-Terrain Planetary Developing Unit, to Shinya Osaki and Miyu Kaido.

Niel Kamahara began upgrading and attaching weapons to the X-Chimera so that it could be used in the battle against the space monster, Galdra.

Capabilities
Modular design
The X-Chimera was created as a planetary developing machine. As a result, the X-Chimera is highly augmentable and can be given multiple different attachments, such as a giant hand-held excavating drill. The X-Chimera was later modified into the X-Chimera Anti-Flying Space Kaiju Arms Model to fight the Space Kaiju, Galdra.
Flight
The X-Chimera is capable of flight by switching into its Cruising Mode. The X-Chimera can also be equipped with two large boosters that attach to its back, these help to enhance its flight capabilities and let the machine dodge attacks from Galdra.
High Mobility
The X-Chimera is stated to have high mobility despite its arms and legs.
Gatling Guns
The X-Chimera Anti-Flying Space Kaiju Arms Model was given two large Diversionary Gatling Guns which are located on the machine's forearms.
Missile Pods
The X-Chimera Anti-Flying Space Kaiju Arms Model was given six large missile pods on the undersides of its wings which house Anti Giant Biological Missiles. Additionally, it was given two small missile pods on the sides of its legs. These smaller missile pods can swivel around to fire at targets behind the vehicle and can be jettisoned after usage.
Markalite Cannon
The X-Chimera Anti-Flying Space Kaiju Arms Model was given a giant Markalite F.A.H.P. Cannon (マーカライトファープ Mākaraito Fāpu) located under its "head". This cannon has two handles on its sides that the X-Chimera can hold onto.
