Greece is a country in Southern and Eastern Europe. Its modern bounds are the southern portion of the Balkan Peninsula south of Albania, North Macedonia, and Bulgaria; it is bordered by Turkey to the east, and includes several islands (such as Crete) in the Mediterranean Sea. While it has appeared infrequently in kaiju media, its ancient past has been featured and referenced in them substantially.

Latitude Zero
After being rescued by Captain Craig McKenzie aboard the Alpha, Perry Lawton inquired about if the submersible was an American nuclear submarine or if it was Japanese. McKenzie denied both claims, further clarifying that it wasn't Russian, Greek, British, or French and that they were instead a neutral party.
Godzilla
"Island of Lost Ships"
Due to turbulence at sea, the crew of the Calico summoned Godzilla to transport them to safety. He brought them to a mysterious island near Greece, where they discovered ancient “ruins.” Within them lived a group of minotaurs, as well as one of the Siren Sisters, who warned Quinn and Pete not to approach a mysterious door. Meanwhile, Brock and Majors became trapped in a dungeon-like maze, pursued by a real Minotaur. They were saved at the last moment when Godzooky intervened with a tree, knocking the beast aside.
Once the crew regrouped, the Sirens enslaved them, freezing Brock with an energy beam. During an attempted escape, Godzooky accidentally freed the Chimera, though Godzilla managed to seal the monster again—at the cost of being put to sleep by the Sirens. This forced the Calico crew to scatter and hide. Even so, Captain Majors was frozen, and Quinn was soon hypnotized and frozen as well. To capture Pete and Godzooky, the Sirens unleashed the Minotaur once more. Although the monster quickly found them, the pair managed to trap it back inside the labyrinth and escape.
Frustrated, the Sirens merged into a single, larger and more powerful entity, while also releasing the Chimera. Pete was left with no choice but to awaken Godzilla. While Godzooky attempted to fight the Chimera in vain, Godzilla finally awoke, leading to a climactic battle atop a seaside cliff. The fight ended when Godzilla hurled Chimera off the cliff, breaking the Sirens’ spell and freeing the Calico crew.

Godzilla: Rage Across Time
In ancient times, people began to reject the Greek gods atop Mount Olympus for their lack of care for the people. One day, Godzilla came ashore after having killed Poseidon, causing great destruction to the city in his wake. He advanced towards Mount Olympus when he was engaged by Ares, but the King of the Monsters quickly vanquished the god of war. In order to stop Godzilla, Zeus sent the Hydra to battle him. However, after a brief battle, Godzilla killed the Hydra and destroyed Mount Olympus, killing all of the remaining Olympians except for Zeus. Enraged, Zeus vanquished Godzilla, but at the cost of all of his power. Having lost his godly stature, Zeus lived amongst the humans to learn and better understand them to atone for his past arrogance.
