Cairo

Cairo is the capital of Egypt and the most populous city in Africa. It is situatied on the Nile River and is in close proximity to several ancient Egyptian landmarks, including the Pyramids of Giza.

American journalist Steve Martin was en route to Cairo for an assignment, only to become drawn into Japan's efforts to stop Godzilla while on layover in Tokyo.

Godzilla: King of the Monsters

Monarch Outpost 65, located in Cairo, monitored the dormant Titan Sekhmet. Sekhmet awakened with other sleeping Titans around the world in response to the call of King Ghidorah. A Monarch map indicated that she didn't move significantly outward from Cairo throughout her rampage. Sekhmet, along with the rest of the Titans around the globe, were pacified by Madison Russell activating the Orca at Fenway Park in Boston, Massachusetts.

Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire

Cairo was the location of a dormant Hollow Earth entrance leading to an Iwi city. In 2027, the entrance would be reopened by Kong, who surfaced to recruit Godzilla to fight the Skar King and his army. Godzilla, however, saw Kong's presence as a challenge. In the ensuing scuffle, the two Titans trashed the Pyramids of Giza. Before Godzilla could finish off the ape Titan, Mothra intervened, convincing Godzilla that Kong wasn't his enemy before they headed into the Hollow Earth to face the Skar King.

Cairo appeared as a playable stage in the game where it has apparently lifted off the ground, not unlike London in Godzilla: Unleashed. There are two bosses in this stage, Mechagodzilla and The Sphinx.

While Dr. Kyoto showed footage of Jet Jaguar battling the Mechagodzilla in New York City to Bob Jones, an Area 51 operative reported to Kyoto that the Xiliens had invaded Cairo with their Hedorah probes. The operative soon clarified that Mothra had shown up to fight off the invasion, with the kaiju blasting a Hedorah probe and several Xilien UFOs with her antennae beams. She was soon engaged by Megalon, who battered her with his drills, and was eventually defeated and captured by the Xiliens.
