Latitude Zero
While explaining a new method of transport to Latitude Zero for their members, Captain Craig McKenzie showed footage of two members getting into one of the cars. When asked why the biologist was there instead of taking political asylum in Canada like what was reported, McKenzie dismissed the claims as what the American government wanted the public to think. He further clarified that communists were told the biologist was instead on a vacation in Egypt with his family, but in actuality was working as part of Project Team #8 and was working on "pure science" rather than profitable science.
Godzilla
"Attack of the Stone Creature"

In Egypt, an explorer named Gordon Jarvis was driving his jeep through the desert to a location, which he had been seeking the last 20 years of his life. Jarvis finally came upon his destination, the giant pyramid known as the "Pyramid of Ramal." As Jarvis climbed up the pyramid for a closer look, some sand tumbled off the pyramid to reveal a giant golden circle. As the sun reflected off the circle, two nearby giant mounds of sand blew away to reveal two Stone Creatures, who came to life and attack Jarvis, blasting him with sand and freezing cold winds until he was forced to flee.
Nearby, the Calico crew arrived at the Nile River. As Brock, Pete, and Godzooky went swimming in the river, Majors and Quinn stumbled upon Jarvis, who had collapsed and was covered in frostbite. After Majors and Quinn helped him recover, Jarvis explained to the Calico crew of the creatures who attacked him: the "Stone Guardians of Ramal." Traumatized by the event, Jarvis refused to go back to the pyramid's location, though he did mention where the pyramid was in spite of his pleas for them not to go.
With Jarvis presumably better then, the Calico crew went off to explore the pyramid themselves. While piloting their mini-copter however, they were caught in an updraft caused by a sandstorm. The sandstorm suddenly turned into a blizzard, freezing the mini-copter's rotors and incapacitating Godzooky from helping them. With Godzilla as their only hope, Majors called upon him. Godzilla received the call and arrived in time to rescue the Calico crew from crashing. At the same time however, Godzooky managed to brave through the blizzard to learn just what was the cause was. The Stone Guardians noticed Godzooky and thus attempted to freeze him as well, but Godzilla intervened and scared them off. The Stone Creatures hid themselves in sand yet again once Godzilla was temporarily distracted by Godzooky tumbling into a pit. Unable to find where the Guardians had disappeared to, Godzilla took his leave.
After Godzooky discovered the Pyramid of Ramal, Majors, Quinn, and Brock all begin digging away to find anything of value. A sudden sand slide caused the Guardians to reveal themselves. This time though, the Guardians didn't move, fooling everyone into thinking they were just normal statues. When Godzooky stumbled across a nearby lagoon, he and Pete went to fill their canteens. When one of the canteens drifted out too far, Pete got sucked into a whirlpool. Godzooky tried to save him, but he too was caught in the whirlpool. The Whirlpool carried them into a water channel which took them inside the Pyramid of Ramal itself. After exploring a few of the rooms inside the pyramid, Pete and Godzooky eventually found the stone door that lead outside.
Back at the digging site, the golden circle on the pyramid activated and the Stone Guardians came to life and noticed the rest of the Calico crew. Feeling that their pyramid was being threatened, the Guardians immediately began attacking them with their sand attacks and ice breath. With no other option, Majors called upon Godzilla for help. As Godzilla hurried to their rescue, the other members of the crew learned that Pete and Godzooky were inside the temple. After managing to pull (and push) the heavy stone door open, the crew accidentally found themselves trapped by the Stone Guardians, whom began blasting their ice breath at the doorway.
Luckily, Godzilla returned just in time to engage the Stone Guardians in battle. The battle proved difficult for Godzilla when the Stone Guardians began pelting him with giant hailstones before finally trapping him in a thick coating of ice. While Godzilla was frozen, the Guardians charged at him, hoping to crush him in-between their attack. However, Godzilla managed to break free from his icy coating and he sidestepped out of the way, causing the Guardians to collide into one another and reduce themselves to a giant heap of crumbled rocks. With the Guardians destroyed, the Calico crew managed to get out of the pyramid safely while Godzilla took his leave.

Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire
