Shinjuku Toho Building

The Shinjuku Toho Building is a 30-floor, mixed-use skyscraper in Kabukicho, Shinjuku, Tokyo, and includes the Hotel Gracery Shinjuku, which occupies the building's top 22 floors. It is the home of the Godzilla Head, a sculpture of Godzilla which sits on the 8th floor terrace. The Shinjuku Toho Building also houses a cinema, restaurants, and shops. Construction of the building was completed in 2015.

As Godzilla continued his rampage through Kabukicho, he came across the Shinjuku Toho Building, which had sustained serious damage during his attack, and stood face to face with the Godzilla Head sculpture on its terrace. Examining it for a moment, he roared at the sculpture, before being hit by gunfire from JGSDF AH-64 Apache helicopters, causing him to charge up his atomic breath and shoot at least one of the helicopters down, firing the beam past the building. Immediately afterwards, he was hit by a missile, knocking him backwards, where he then transformed into his Burning form.

Alongside the Godzilla Head itself, the Shinjuku Toho Building has appeared in several recent video game adaptations of the Godzilla franchise.
