James Newton Howard is an American film composer. Having started writing music for short films in 1981, he became a sought-after film composer and orchestrator in the following years. In 2005, Howard wrote the music for Peter Jackson's King Kong and was nominated for a Golden Globe Award for Best Original Score.[1] Howard is also known as the composer for The Devil's Advocate (1997), Dinosaur (2000), I Am Legend (2007), and the Hunger Games films. He composed the fanfare used for Legendary Pictures' production logo in all their films from Clash of the Titans (2010) to Little (2019).
