King Kong, advertised as Kong: The 8th Wonder of the World is a five-reel video slot game based on the 2005 film King Kong from Universal Pictures. It was released in 2011 by Playtech plc for use in licensed online casinos.
Overview
King Kong is a typical slot machine game in which the player gambles a wager starting at 1¢, and attempts to stop five spinning wheels with varying images on them to form various configurations with associated score multipliers, with the most famous being five of the same picture in a row.
Gameplay
The player gambles for the machine's reels to stop spinning with various images from the film or existing Cash Fever compatible software to land with five matches in a row, or in another configuration with associated score effects. There are two available themes to play in, the "Jungle Mode" based on Skull Island, and "Big City Mode" based on New York City. When there are three "Skull Island Bonus" tiles on the board, the player may enter the Skull Island Bonus mode. In this mode, the player selects any three of a number of dots on a map of Skull Island to try and either match three dinosaurs with different associated score multipliers, or find Kong for the highest multiplier. If the player finds Kong, they will progress to Big City Mode. In "City Tower Bonus Mode," the player controls Kong as he stands atop a building. Three times he will be attacked by three planes, each with a corresponding prize value. If the player takes down three planes, they will be sent back to Jungle Mode.
