"Godman vs. Sanda" (ゴッドマン対サンダ, Goddoman tai Sanda) comprises the 91st to 96th episodes of Go! Godman, the 16th overall story arc. They aired on Nippon TV from January 25 to 31, 1973.
Plot
Some children were playing with a ball when Sanda suddenly appeared. The kids ran away and called for Godman, who descended from the sky, grew to giant size, and confronted the monster. The battle began with Sanda attempting a kick, which Godman dodged, leaving Sanda open to counterattacks. Godman initially held the advantage, but Sanda quickly retaliated with a barrage of punches strong enough to knock Godman down. Godman rose back to his feet and even managed to strangle Sanda at one point, though Sanda resisted and continued fighting despite being thrown and struck multiple times. The two exchanged blow after blow, each countering the other’s attacks. Seeing Godman as a worthy opponent, Sanda tried to withdraw, but Godman refused to let him escape, pinning him to the ground and striking him repeatedly. Even so, Sanda managed to reverse the situation several times, at one point leaving Godman pinned near a cliff’s edge, though the tables quickly turned again.
The clash continued as a hard-fought, back-and-forth struggle. When Sanda attempted to head toward the city, Godman regained control, lifting Sanda with his bare hands. Sanda taunted Godman after breaking free, but Godman’s God-Sparks struck him, leaving him critically weakened. Godman then pressed the advantage, landing most of the blows and knocking Sanda down multiple times. Eventually, Sanda tried to flee, only for Godman to finish him off with the God-Kick, sending Sanda tumbling off a cliff where he exploded. Godman emerged victorious, celebrating at the site of Sanda’s destruction.
