"Godman vs. Hotter" (ゴッドマン対ホッター, Goddoman tai Hottā) comprises the 106th to 108th episodes of Go! Godman, the 19th overall story arc. They aired on Nippon TV from February 12 to 14, 1973.
Plot
A man appears searching for something with a lantern. While looking, he encounters Hotter. The man flees, but soon runs into Hotter again, causing him to panic and flee once more. Hotter then confronts Godman, summoning his Whip. Despite repeatedly trying to strike Godman, his attacks miss, and both fall to the ground. They quickly rise, with Godman hiding behind a tree, only to be discovered and attacked, becoming surrounded. Godman manages to seize Hotter's Whip, forcing the monster into a fair fight.
With the weapon gone, the battle shifts in Godman’s favor. He immobilizes Hotter against a tree and pins him to the ground, leaving him vulnerable to a barrage of blows. When Hotter attempts to rise, Godman knocks him back down with a flying kick, restrains him, and finishes him with his God-Sparks. Upon death, Hotter transforms back into the man from earlier, the one who had panicked and fled. Godman returns the lantern to him and revives him with a light tap.
Godman then flies away, while the man continues his exploration.
