"Godman vs. Ibogiller" (ゴッドマン対イボギラー, Goddoman tai Ibogilā) comprises the 148th to 150th episodes of Go! Godman, the 32nd overall story arc. They aired on Nippon TV from April 2 to 4, 1973.
Plot
Monster Uncle, Eri-chan, and several children are spending the day at an amusement park. While climbing a set of stairs, Monster Uncle falls behind and has to sprint to catch up. Exhausted, he suddenly notices a gloved hand motioning for him to follow, and he does so. As he walks, a strange smoke appears—soon after, the kaiju Ibogiller emerges.
Realizing that Monster Uncle has gone missing, the children call upon Godman for help. Godman begins the battle by dodging Ibogiller’s attacks before they start trading punches. Ibogiller grabs a stick lying in the forest, but quickly throws it away himself. Godman takes the chance to use his God-Crush, but Ibogiller makes it vanish, just as he does with the God-Sparks and God-Circle. The fight turns into a fierce and even struggle. However, Ibogiller suddenly teleports behind Godman and begins to strangle him from behind—though Godman refuses to be defeated so easily.
Meanwhile, Monster Uncle is eventually found by the others, lost in the forest. In the end, it is revealed that everything was just a product of Monster Uncle’s imagination.
