"Godman vs. Kappalge" (ゴッドマン対カッパルゲ, Goddoman tai Kapparuge) comprises the 118th to 120th episodes of Go! Godman, the 23rd overall story arc. They aired on Nippon TV from February 26 to 28, 1973.
Plot
A group of children discover a beetle resting on a tree, but are soon startled by a roar. From a sudden explosion emerges Kappalge. The children call upon Godman, and the battle begins. At first, Kappalge seems to gain the upper hand after seizing a katana-like weapon, but Godman quickly forces him to retreat. The fight remains evenly matched, with both monsters repeatedly knocking each other down. Kappalge then resorts to teleportation and begins hurling darts at Godman, though they are successfully evaded. Unable to overpower his foe, Kappalge attempts to flee, but Godman pursues him. After several fierce clashes, Godman finally grabs Kappalge, hurls him aside, and finishes him with his God-Sparks, leaving behind only the remains of a shattered beetle as proof of his existence.
