"True Form" (真の姿, Shin no Sugata) is the 64th episode of Chibi Godzilla Raids Again and the 51st of its second season. Written by Taketo Shinkai, it aired on Japanese television on March 19, 2025. An English-subtitled version was released on the GODZILLA OFFICIAL by TOHO YouTube channel on September 5, 2025.
Plot
Chibi Mechagodzilla hunches over, out of breath. Chibi Godzilla, Chibi Ghidorah, and Chibi Mothra approach him, the latter asking if he's fine, but Chibi Mechagodzilla doesn't know. He suddenly leans back and cries out, his eyes glowing red like when he tries to remember his past. Chibi Godzilla tries to help Chibi Mechagodzilla, who instead curtly tells him not to touch him with his filthy paws, his voice now deeper. Chibi Gigan appears, delighted that Chibi Mechagodzilla has finally revealed his "true form" and recovered from his previous memory loss. Chibi Gigan puts his claw on Chibi Mechagodzilla's shoulder and asks him to help destroy Monster Island. Chibi Mechagodzilla turns on Chibi Gigan, also demanding to not be touched while asking if he washed his claw. While Chibi Mechagodzilla rambles about doornobs and phones being rife with germs, Chibi Mothra is relieved to learn that he's just a germaphobe. However, Chibi Mechagodzilla promptly determines that Monster Island is so filthy that he must destroy it all. Chibi Gigan orders Chibi Mechagodzilla to freeze his friends with the Absolute Zero Cannon while the kaiju brainstorm ways to fix Chibi Mechagodzilla. Chibi Ghidorah suggests that a human could help them snap Chibi Mechagodzilla out of it as he had been built by humans, but Chibi Gigan laughs at him and states that humans are extinct due to fighting a war with robots who then revolted and took over. Though the others are initially surprised by the news, Chibi Godzilla and Chibi Mothra don't really care since they've never met a human. Chibi Ghidorah asks if there's any way to fix Chibi Mechagodzilla, but Chibi Gigan states that it is 100% impossible. Chibi Godzilla says he won't give up, while Chibi Gigan revises his statement and admits he was exaggerating about his certainty. Chibi Mechagodzilla grows bored and charges his Absolute Zero Cannon, encouraged by Chibi Gigan. Desperate, Chibi Godzilla yells at Chibi Mechagodzilla to remember all the things they've done together since they've met, highlighting dirty activities which causes Chibi Mechagodzilla to overload. After returning to normal, the confused Chibi Mechagodzilla apologizes while his friends celebrate and Chibi Gigan laments. Suddenly, Chibi Mechagodzilla notices that the others have moved away from him, citing his earlier request not to be touched, which he does not remember.
