"Chibi Rodan's Supernatural Powers" (ちびラドンの超能力, Chibi Radon no Chō Nōryoku) is the 62nd episode of Chibi Godzilla Raids Again and the 49th of its second season. Written by Taketo Shinkai and Yuki Hirokawa, it aired on Japanese television on March 3, 2025. An English-subtitled version was released on the GODZILLA OFFICIAL by TOHO YouTube channel on August 22, 2025.
Plot
Chibi Godzilla and Chibi Mechagodzilla stumble upon Chibi Ghidorah staring in awe at a posing Chibi Rodan. Chibi Godzilla and Chibi Mechagodzilla come by and ask what's going on, and Chibi Ghidorah tells them that Chibi Rodan's psychic powers have awoken. Chibi Rodan remarks that he's now living in a different reality from his friends and demonstrates his abilities for Chibi Godzilla, flashing with purple and blue flames and making a pebble roll with just an arm motion. Chibi Godzilla quickly loses interest, while Chibi Mechagodzilla asks if Chibi Rodan can move heavier objects. Chibi Rodan states that his powers have a weight limit of 50 grams. Chibi Ghidorah says it's still cool and recommends Chibi Rodan practice to improve, but Chibi Rodan defensively states that he doesn't practice since he's already a natural-born genius, insisting he can do anything perfectly without any effort. Chibi Mechagodzilla sees through his lie before Chibi Godzilla asks if Chibi Rodan has any abilities aside from telekinesis. Chibi Rodan says he can levitate, angering Chibi Godzilla before Chibi Rodan elaborates that he's now capable of flying with just his powers. He demonstrates, his face flushing red while he hovers in the air without moving his wings, though he barely gets off the ground. Chibi Rodan adds that he can read minds, pointing at an impressed Chibi Mechagodzilla and saying he's surprised. Chibi Godzilla asks if that's the limit of Chibi Rodan's telepathy, only for Chibi Rodan to detect that Chibi Godzilla is disappointed. Chibi Mechagodzilla says that Chibi Rodan's just reading their facial expressions. Chibi Godzilla asks if he can sense deeper than that, to which Chibi Rodan says he can read into his own feelings, enraging Chibi Godzilla, though Chibi Mechagodzilla admits that Chibi Rodan's ability to identify his stressors is useful. Desperate to impress his friends, Chibi Rodan activates his abilities again and spawns a transparent bluish-white clone of himself behind him, exciting Chibi Godzilla. Chibi Ghidorah asks if it's a spirit that fights for him, but Chibi Rodan says it does nothing but eat food and make funny faces. Chibi Godzilla and Chibi Ghidorah wish Chibi Rodan had more "super" supernatural powers, but Chibi Rodan says that his abilities have been useful; for example, he points out that he can tell they're all disappointed. Chibi Godzilla, Chibi Mechagodzilla, and Chibi Ghidorah all call him lame.
