Anna Nakagawa (中川安奈,   Nakagawa Anna) was a Japanese actress. The daughter of Harunosuke Nakagawa (a director of multiple episodes of Ultra Q), granddaughter of Koreya Senda (an actor who appeared in The H-Man, Varan, and Battle in Outer Space), and distantly related to Jerry Ito, she heralded from a family heavily involved in the film industry and the kaiju genre. Nakagawa is best known for the 1989 film A Sign Days, for which she won best actress at the 11th Yokohama Film Festival,[1] and playing Emmy Kano in the 1991 Godzilla film Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah. On October 17, 2014, she died from endometrial cancer.
