Yusuke Kawazu (川津 (かわづ) 祐介,   Kawazu Yūsuke), born Yuichi Kawazu (川頭 (かわず) 祐一,   Kawazu Yūichi), was a Japanese actor and action star best known for his roles in such series as The Guard Man, Spy Catcher J3, and G-Men '75. Though he did not appear in many tokusatsu productions, he played Joji Akiyama in Shochiku's Genocide, Professor Omae in Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla II, and Akio Nojiri in Gamera 2: Attack of Legion and Gamera 3: Revenge of Iris, as well as making appearances in Tsuburaya Productions' The Unbalance Zone and Toho's Megaloman. Kawazu passed away on February 26, 2022 at age 86 due to chronic heart failure.
