I'm not sure if anyone will see this but I've been making and adding to various Godzilla Island-related incarnation page sandboxes (and also a sandbox for Proto-Moguera). I've only done stuff related to the first season so far but could anyone help examine it and maybe clean it up? I ask now because I feel that the sandboxes would be very large and irritating to look through when complete due to the sheer volume of episodes and story arcs in the show. Also, is the Proto-Moguera sandbox almost ready to become a page? I think it only appears in the first season and the page is mostly complete (unless Proto-Moguera doesn't qualify for a page in the first place).

Personally, I'd still prefer to look at the sandboxes when they're in a more finished state.

Proto-Moguera's an interesting case. On one hand, we give unique names a lot of weight when deciding what incarnations of less-prominent monsters to give their own pages. On the other hand, it's essentially just the Showa Moguera with a different prefix, less distinct than a Black Mechagodzilla or Firefighter Jet Jaguar.

Alright, that's fair enough. I might take a bit of a break from writing stuff for the Godzilla Island incarnation pages until more episodes have been translated (even if that might take a while) though I might focus on monsters who only appear in season 1 (I think Kamacuras is exclusive to season 1).

In terms of Proto-Moguera, could we at least keep the sandbox for now? Even if it doesn't deserve its own page, it'd be useful for editing Godzilla Island-related content on the main Moguera page at a later date.

Correct, Kamacuras is only in story arc 12.

Alright, thanks. I don't want to ask too many questions but would you or anyone else happen to know which story arcs or specific episodes Battra appears in? The reasons I ask are because his episode count on the main page seems to have been mixed up with Mecha-King Ghidorah's and I wanted to write his history section since he's somewhat significant but also minor enough from what I've seen to not be too difficult to write summaries for.

The Proto-Moguera sandbox can stay up, definitely. Even if the page itself isn't implemented, the info on it will be merged onto the main Moguera page.

I'd also like to take this opportunity to thank you for all your work on those sandboxes; Godzilla Island stuff was a distant backburner project for me that I probably wouldn't have gotten to until after the whole series was translated, so I greatly appreciate all the effort. Keep up the great work! :)

Can I ask how close the sandbox for the King Ghidorah in the show is to completion? (It can be found at Sandbox:King Ghidorah (Godzilla Island))

I think it might need more images but otherwise I think it looks pretty close to complete.

Updating this now the entire series has been translated: Is the sandbox for the Mechagodzilla in the show (Sandbox:Mechagodzilla (Godzilla Island)) close to being promoted?

Godzilla, Rodan and Anguirus will probably need more working on but I think Mechagodzilla is overall finished.

(also do alternate names need referencing or not since subtitles do need referencing?)

MG is now in business! As for alternate names, I would say no reference is needed if they just appear in the show.

Updating this again: Is the sandbox for Godzilla (Sandbox:Godzilla (Godzilla Island)) close to being promoted? The only things I think it needs outside of a general cleanup are a better infobox image (which has been surprisingly difficult to find) and an audio file for his possessed roar (I'm not sure how to create audio files) but otherwise I think it's overall finished.

Finished making a page on episode 21 of Zone Fighter. Can you let me know if it's okay to be published as an page?

Sandbox:Invincible! Godzilla Rages

I've been working on sandboxes and published pages for monsters from the episodic Godzilla series, including Godziban. However, I just wanted to ask anyone who sees this (ideally who it was who added them in the first place): for the episode lists for each monster as part of the history section, are the Sleeping/Napping monsters episodes and "Mysterious Forest of Yakushima Edition" counted as regular episodes or special episodes?

Looks like they're counted as special episodes on the episode list.

That makes sense, especially since the regular episodes go up to 63. Just figured it would be a good idea to get another view on the matter.

I've avoided updating the list because I simply don't know what's been going on with the show. The official website treats everything after "The Rival Appears" as explicitly not part of the 4th Season and are instead just in a section called "April 2023 onward." But then the Godzilla Channel includes all of those in the playlist for the 4th Season. So which is it? Might be worth seeing if the director would give an answer on Twitter.

That is confusing. If we can't find out from the director, I'd say it would maybe be easiest to call every episode after regular episode 63 special episodes since "April 2023 onward" seems like a more deliberate choice than just putting everything in the 4th Season playlist likely for convenience.

Alright, now that there is an updated episode list which works, I wanted to ask a different question: does anyone know where it would be possible to watch the special episodes "The Xilien Who Turned Red", "Lullaby of the Skies", "The Greatest Advance of All Monsters on Earth" and "Mothra vs. Bagan: Prologue"?

I've been helping to work on the sandboxes for Demon Rodan, Demon Anguirus, Demon Varan, Devilish King Ghidorah and Devilish Destoroyah, and I think all five are close to completion so could anyone read through the sandboxes to see if they need anything else added to them? I also added some trivia to some of them that may be too speculative or irrelevant so that might need checking too.

(BTW, the sandboxes are Sandbox:Demon Rodan, Sandbox:Demon Anguirus, Sandbox:Demon Varan, Sandbox:Devilish King Ghidorah and Sandbox:Devilish Destoroyah)

Just looked through them. After ensuring that the “demons” have matching Infobox images, determining their types, adding a thing or two for both “devils”, I’d say we just need a third opinion now. Les? ABB?

Update: Demon Rodan has been promoted so it's probably just a matter of time for the others, they're all pretty close to completion imo.

So, I've been making a page on the 21st episode of Zone Fighter, Sandbox:Invincible! Godzilla Rages and I was going to make the plot for the episode. The thing is, I went to Internet Archive to get the episode with subs but all it said was 'Sorry, the video player failed to load.(Error Code: 101104)" I don't know anywhere else to watch the show with subtitles, so if anyone could show me somewhere else to watch the series subbed so I can keep making the page that would help a lot.

IA's video player is pretty dreadful, but there is an option further down the page to download the video (MPEG4, then right click on the player -> Save Video As).

Weirdly enough, when I tried to re-enter Wikizilla, I was never greeted by the same message. Not only that, but there's no record of a block anywhere. Not sure if it was something I did or a simple error.

It's an automated nuisance, not something any staff member did. I've actually encountered it myself (to which I had this reaction). Refreshing always seems to take care of it though.

So there's nothing to worry about on my end? If so, that's good to hear.

In the meantime, I'll continue working on my Godzilla (Godzilla: The Half-Century War) sandbox since that's one of the few pieces of media (outside of the Godzilla films) I currently have.

The Shinkalion Godzilla page needs a fair bit of work still, especially the synopsis. Readers need more context if we're going to drop something as wild as Godzilla fighting Hatsune Miku on them. I believe "Snow Godzilla" is a fan name too; Les recalled that the name used for the character in the theater program is just plain Godzilla. Though we'd want to investigate that more.

Okay, though on the subject on Snow Godzilla maybe being a fan name the teleportation gif uses Snow Godzilla in its subtitles so I don't know how accurate that is. I also just realised that the page will probably need sections for personality and origins so I'm going to see if I can find information on that.

I watched the subtitled clips and it looks like the characters initially recognize him as Godzilla, then assign him the codename Snow Godzilla. So the page name can stay the same.

It seems I basically abandoned this topic so sorry about that. Now that Snow Godzilla has become an official page, I think I'm going to work on incarnation pages for Godzilla and Mechagodzilla (and maybe the others) in general since none of them seem to be particularly close to completion, with more of a focus on audio-visual incarnations.

Okay, it's been updated even more. Is it now ready or does it need other stuff? I suppose the abilities section is a little short.

GGGL Godzilla isn’t exactly written to have any abilities. He’s from an educational piece of media, so it shouldn’t be surprising if his abilities section is small.

This is a minor thing I've noticed but it seems that more recent pages don't show up in the searchbar when you search for them e.g. Wild Willie, Godzilla (Get Going! Godzilland), Parrot Frog and Great Ape. It does link to the page if you type it in correctly though.

I'm not sure when this started happening but think it was around the time the searchbar was moved from above categories to below categories.

I get this is a more minor issue but I figured I should mention it anyway.

It should also be mentioned that images added within the past couple of months do not appear when you search for them in the Image search when editing.
