Regarding your Gatling Gigan edit: we typically don't count appearances in episodes' recaps, title cards/intros, or next-episode previews. The only exception I can recall is the Godzilla Singular Point credits, which feature a ton of characters/monsters who aren't in the show proper at all.

yeah I got it explained to me already. the reason I asked was because episode 0 counted for just an image but that was probably because it was the "pilot" so to speak
I forgot about that, but I think it could be argued the pictures in episode 0 are part of the episode. In subsequent episodes the format is: the narrative ends, it smash-cuts to the title card, then kaiju encyclopedia, the next-episode preview, and credits. In episode 0 the end of the last fight transitions directly into that narrated slideshow and then the title card appears, so it doesn't seem like a preview per se.
Where did you get the name Maino Times? We have Maicho Shimbun on the film page's cast list.
Please write full citations in the future - the one you added for Yoshiro Kitahara's was especially difficult to decipher. Simply copying a citation from Japanese Wikipedia isn't necessarily sufficient for the reader to understand what is being referenced.
oh dang did they not work? I was copying what I saw other citations did that referenced other sites, sorry for the trouble, citations have always been something I've struggled with. Do you have like a guide so I don't make that mistake in the future?

I am very skeptical of the claims on Dark Horse's site that all their Godzilla comics were published on the first day of a given month - that would run the gamut with regards to days of the week. Further investigation is needed, but from this Reddit thread it sounds like comic books have been published on specific days of the week since before Dark Horse's time. The first-of-the-month dates may instead be placeholders.
oh dang, wasn't even aware of that, I was wondering why one issue came out June 1 and the next June 2. so what should we do, just leave it for now since its the only confirmed dates we have?
I'd prefer going back to just months and years until we can find more reliable sources. I found dates for the 1998 reprints on PREVIEWSworld, at least. I'm going to my comic shop tomorrow, so I can ask them how they'd figure out the rest.
Update: The employee I spoke to wasn't sure if exact dates could be found for comics that old, but said he'd investigate further.
Sup El Spigre, so I checked the recent images page and now I have a question about the Oodaku vs. Gezora vs. Dogora image you uploaded. Can it really be added to the galleries for the respective monsters considering the magazine it came from (Godzilla Magazine) is (according to bear bones research I did :P) most likely a fanzine?
