There’s so many articles that call the first movie exactly as the allusion on-film is worded: “Norwegian Godzilla”
So many articles discussing how the movie is an evident nod/approach to the genre despite the originality of the subject monster in detail.
No further debate. Controversy burnt out for some time.
I feel like you’re either not understanding me or dismissing what I have to say.
To put it simply: KG doesn’t care about people aside from religion. Why would he? He wants them to help him eat their planets, that is all (he is titled, “the planet eater”, after all). This is what I constitute as “religious communication”— He is only providing them information in the interest of advancing this sole desire, and has no use for humans outside of that. Please, name something that the Exif or Ghidorah do that doesn’t boil down to “So Ghidorah can eat their planets.”
Garbetrium bead? Only so he can become corporal and eat the planet.
Gematron calculation? In the interest of advancing their religion & arriving to new planets so that they can convert the inhabitants… and Ghidorah can eventually eat them.
That weird water thing Metphies did to his followers? Ghidorah ate them in that scene.
A religious leader would be someone who leads others to “salvation”, yet is not worshipped themselves, like Mother A from Escape the Deadzone. She gives sermons and tells her followers what to do, but they don’t worship her. Ultimately, the god is Godzilla, and she wouldn’t be under the same banner as Ghidorah because she is not the people’s god.
On the other hand, most of the Exifs have no desire to do anything other than be religious. In the United Earth Significant Report on Exif, they are literally trying to convert the researches as they are talking to them, using their advanced technology to spout why their religion is so great and why the researches should convert to it. Obeying what he says is part of their worship, not aside from it. This is why the leader description (for Ghidorah) falls under what it means to be a god.

No, we clearly are not, seeing as how you want the “leader” category, and I think it is unnecessary. It’s got no reason to be there if all the leading is under the typical “god” category.

Yes, but the opposite way around. If he’s a god, that kind of implies that he’s leading some sort of religion, and the leader category is therefore unnecessary, because he already has the god one.
(And while it’s true that some gods don’t act on their followers, doing so in this way is an extension of being a god, not a leadership position on its own.)
Being a god has nothing to do with leading a religion/cult. Gods are served and appealed to by their followers. It’s not the same as say being a king or a political authority figure. Gods are invested with faith and worship. They play no actual role in religions because religions exist in their image and by their associated ideals.

I brought back my earlier work as well as adding some fresh intel. Most of my work was some information for “Intelligence”, so i had some examples to offer in other words. When I finished editing and tried to save my work, there was an edit conflict thing. I had it resolved, but when i got back to the profile, all my hard work is not there and i can’t recover it. I spent minutes typing these details from the film, so it hurts that this happened.
Unfortunately, the additions were not saved. The reason I reverted your edits is because you repeatedly undid Astounding Beyond Belief's, which was not necessary. All that needed to be done was starting a new edit that re-added the Intelligence heading. I apologize, but please be mindful of keeping prior revisions intact when adding information.

Some of these kaiju are certainly going to be profiled next year, but this is not a realistic list. The Showa Godzilla and Gamera videos alone will take us several months apiece when we finally work up the courage to make them.

Please stop trying to add information about random YouTube videos to the Gryphon page. It should only cover the official version of the character in the '96 draft and its comic adaptation.
Merging the Cyber Godzilla page with the generation-1 Tristar Godzilla page would be a time-consuming task best left non-attempted.
We've split up a few characters whose names change with their form across multiple pages (the comparison The King of the Monsters made when I brought the matter up was the original Godzilla and Kiryu). This seems like a similar case, and I do think it would be weird to have Cyber-Godzilla (by dint of being the most recent form) as the main infobox image for a Godzilla incarnation page.
Well we could still use his current image as the first one that people see, plus Cyber Godzilla is a different case from Kiryu. Kiryu is Gojira in the movies but is completely different elsewhere as we both know. Cyber Godzilla only shows up on media that regards Godzilla: The Series. He is Godzilla indefinitely and that’s it. He’s the first Godzilla, but from the future by months.

Please make sure to look at the preexisting "comics" sections of characters' pages for images and info; you uploaded a few duplicate files that I had previously uploaded (I already went through and replaced them, so you don't have to do anything else there).
By the way, over the last year I've written up and edited every monster's comic histories on their respective pages, with the only exceptions being Godzilla, Mothra, and Mechagodzilla, who are still missing some info (and I intend on covering the Mechagodzillas this month - I already have new photos gathered). So basically, outside of Godzilla and Mothra, you don't actually have to go through the trouble of writing up any other character's histories - what's already on their pages will suffice. Anything you write for Godzilla and Mothra, however, will be a significant help, and the Godzilla pages you've been writing up have already been a huge help - in particular the main IDW continuity's Godzilla - so I thank you for that!

We prefer that users don't promote sandboxes without permission, but if you're going to do it, please stop copying the code to a new page and then blanking the sandbox. There is a "move" button at the top of pages, a few places over from the edit button. Creating a new page causes all of the prior edit history from the sandbox to be lost. Thank you.
