He of the Sun is a Japanese dramatic series produced by TBS and Toho that aired from April 27 to June 20, 1967

Plot

Each episode follows rookie reporter Ichisei Yabuki of the magazine Weekly Seishun as he chases stories ranging from sports and music to film productions and even monster encounters. Competing with rival journalists, Yabuki’s assignments often bring him face-to-face with real celebrities or costumed kaiju, blending light comedy, youth drama, and pop-culture cameos.
