DefoReal

DefoReal (デフォリアル,   Deforiaru) is a line of detailed figures by X-Plus. Each figure is stylized with chibi proportions ("Deformed") and yet sculpted with extreme detail ("Real").

2017

In June of 2017, X-Plus released their first DefoReal figure, Godzilla from Shin Godzilla.

At the 2017 Summer Wonder Festival, X-Plus sold a translucent red version of their Shin Godzilla figure.

Later that July, X-Plus released a figure of Shin Godzilla's second form.

In October of 2017, X-Plus released a figure of Shin Godzilla readying his atomic breath, dubbed the "Awakening Version".

In November of 2017, X-Plus released a figure of Shin Godzilla's third form.

At the 2017 Tokyo Comic Con in December, X-Plus sold a set of all three Shin Godzilla forms in translucent yellow, orange, and red.

2018

In March of 2018, X-Plus released a figure of Godzilla based on concept art from the 1954 film. A version with glow-in-the-dark dorsal plates was released as a RIC exclusive.

In May of 2018, X-Plus released a figure of Godzilla Earth. A version with light-up dorsal plates was released as a RIC exclusive.

In October of 2018, X-Plus released a figure of Godzilla from The Return of Godzilla. A version holding a nuclear reactor was released as a RIC exclusive.

At G-FES 2018, X-Plus rereleased their 1954 Godzilla figure with a black-and-white color scheme as well as an exclusive base.

In November of 2018, X-Plus released a figure of Godzilla from Godzilla, Mothra and King Ghidorah: Giant Monsters All-Out Attack. A version of Godzilla with an open mouth and foot atop Baragon was released as a RIC exclusive.

At Tokyo Comic-Con 2018, X-Plus released a translucent blue version of their Godzilla Earth figure.

In December of 2018, X-Plus released a figure of Godzilla from King Kong vs. Godzilla. A version with glow-in-the-dark dorsal plates was released as a RIC exclusive.

Later that month, X-Plus released two figures depicting Kong dueling a Skullcrawler. The figures were sold through Star Ace, available individually or as a set.

2019

In January of 2019, X-Plus released a figure of Godzilla from Mothra vs. Godzilla with a Mothra larva attached to his tail. The RIC release includes a second larva with its own base.

In March of 2019, X-Plus released a figure of Godzilla from GODZILLA. The RIC release includes a hatching Baby Godzilla with its own base.

In April of 2019, X-Plus released a figure of Hedorah from Godzilla vs. Hedorah. The RIC release includes an alternate damaged eye.

In June of 2019, X-Plus released a figure of Godzilla from Godzilla vs. Hedorah. The RIC release features Godzilla with a damaged eye and holding Hedorah’s eggs, dubbed the "Fierce Fight at Mt. Fuji Version".

Later that June, X-Plus released a figure of Godzilla from Shin Godzilla, depicting his frozen form.

At the 2019 Summer Wonder Festival, X-Plus sold a pink version of their Hedorah figure.

In November of 2019, X-Plus released a figure of Kong fighting a Mire Squid. It was sold through Star Ace.

Later that November, X-Plus released a figure of Godzilla from Godzilla: King of the Monsters. The RIC release can light up.

In December of 2019, X-Plus released a figure of Destoroyah. The RIC release includes a glowing horn and eyes.

2020

In January of 2020, X-Plus released a figure of King Ghidorah from Godzilla: King of the Monsters. The RIC release features glowing eyes and necks.

Later that January, X-Plus released two figures of Anguirus and Godzilla from Godzilla Raids Again. The RIC release comes as a set, with each monster colored to match their appearances on main poster, dubbed the "Technicolor Version".

In February of 2020, X-Plus released a figure of Rodan from Godzilla: King of the Monsters. The RIC release has red magma highlights.

In March of 2020, X-Plus rereleased their first Shin Godzilla figure, molded in a translucent red and dubbed the "Clear Version".

In April of 2020, X-Plus released a figure of Godzilla from Godzilla 2000: Millennium. The RIC release includes an alternate jaw piece.

Later that April, X-Plus released two figures of Orga, one as a standard release and another as a RIC exclusive. The standard release depicts Orga’s base state and includes a smaller Millennian figure, while the RIC release depicts Orga’s attempt to consume Godzilla.

In May of 2020, X-Plus released a figure of Mothra from Godzilla: King of the Monsters. The RIC release is painted with an alternate color scheme.

In June of 2020, X-Plus released a figure of SpaceGodzilla. The RIC release can light up.

Later that month, X-Plus released a figure of Burning Godzilla from Godzilla: King of the Monsters. The RIC release is molded in translucent orange and released in November of 2020.

In August of 2020, X-Plus released a figure of King Caesar from Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla. The RIC release includes alternate ears and a miniature statue.

Gigantic Series X DefoReal

The Gigantic Series X DefoReal subline creates larger versions of DefoReal figures, typically

The 30cm series is a line of figures by X-Plus that focuses on creating 30cm vinyl statues of Toho and Daiei kaiju.

Toho 30cm Series

2007

Sometime in 2007, X-Plus released their first 30cm figures, an unpainted Sanda and Gaira. These figures were later sold painted in May of 2008, and as a set at the 2011 2011 Wonder Festival.

2008

In December of 2008, X-Plus released a figure of Gorosaurus from King Kong Escapes.

2009

In November of 2009, X-Plus released a figure of Anguirus from Destroy All Monsters.

In December of 2009, X-Plus released a figure of Gigan from Godzilla vs. Gigan. This figure was later recolored into the "Night Color Version" for the 2011 Winter Wonder Festival. In 2015, it was rereleased with a glowing visor.

2010

In March of 2010, X-Plus released a figure of Godzilla from Godzilla: Tokyo SOS.

2012

In January of 2012, X-Plus released a figure of Mechagodzilla from Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla. It features special articulation: its head and wrists can spin, its shoulders can be rotated, and its jaw opens and closes. The RIC version includes a smaller Mechagodzilla in flight. A paint sample of Black Mechagodzilla was also created, but never intended for release.

Daiei 30cm Series

2012

In September 2012, X-Plus released a statue of Gamera from Gamera 2: Attack of Legion. The RIC release includes 10 unpainted Soldier Legion.

Large Monster Series

The Large Monster Series or Daikaiju Series (大怪獣シリーズ,   Dai kaijū shirīzu) is a line of vinyl figures by X-Plus that focuses on creating 20cm to 25cm statues of kaiju from many different franchises, including Godzilla, Gamera, and Ultraman.

From 1999 to about 2005, the Large Monster Series branding was used on many of X-Plus's original figures. It was not until 2010 that the line became standardized into what it is today.

Toho Daikaiju Series

The Toho Daikaiju Series (東宝大怪獣シリーズ,   Tōhō dai kaijū shirīzu) is a line of vinyl figures by X-Plus that focuses on creating statues of kaiju from Toho movies. Each is about 25cm tall.

Gigantic Series

The Gigantic Series (ギガンティックシリーズ,   Gigantikkushirīzu) is a line of vinyl figures released by X-Plus that creates large statues of characters from Japanese franchises such as Godzilla and Ultraman. Each statue is about 50cm tall.

2016

In 2016, a Gigantic Series figure of Godzilla (1954) was revealed at the Winter Wonder Festival.

Toho Maniacs

The Toho Maniacs (東宝マニアックス,   Tōhō maniakkusu) series is a line of vinyl figures by X-Plus that focuses on creating 17cm statues of lesser-known characters from Toho's more obscure movies, usually people or objects.

In March of 2022, X-Plus released a figure of Matango from the film of the same name.

In February of 2025, X-Plus released a figure of Utsuno Ikusagami from Orochi, the Eight-Headed Dragon.

The Real Masters Collection (リアルマスターコレクション,   Riarumasutākorekushon) is a series of highly detailed, polystone statues by X-Plus.

X-Plus Model Kits

X-Plus Model Kits are small polystyrene kits released by X-Plus. Each comes unassembled and unpainted. Some are made from existing sculpts, while others are completely original to the line.

Miscellaneous Releases (This can replace the existing X-Plus page)

In 1998, X-Plus released a figure of the 1954 Godzilla maquette. A glow-in-the-dark variant was released the same year.

Later in 1998, X-Plus released an articulated figure of Godzilla (1998).

X-Plus also released figures of other miscellaneous Toho monsters in 1998, including:
