Hey, I was interested where you got this information about the upcoming Godzilla #2, including the character Captain Corroñero. I didn't see anything of the like in the preview and that name brings up nothing on Google. Thanks!

Thank you kindly. Just a heads up that the panel actually says "Carroñero", with an A. The reviewer also says that Godzilla appears in "a flashback sequence and in a panel swimming in the ocean," which sounds to me like he's not entirely flashback. Best to wait for the comic to come out.
