The Nightmare Children is a cult that appeared in Godzilla vs. Cthulhu: A Death May Die Story that worship the Elder Gods and Great Old Ones.

The Nightmare Children would discover Mike Kozlov is an spy and their leader Kurt Metzeger would boast about coming of their deity before one of them knocked the spy out.
Later on they would do an ritual that awaken Cthulhu and would be present watching Cthulhu rampage in Boston.
However Cthulhu was eventually defeated by Godzilla and one of Azathoh's minions would hang Kurt Metzeger as punishment for his failure and Cthulhu’s defeat.
The fate of the cult after those events are unknown.
